Ms. Pearls And The Blue Boy.

There was a girl of treasure.
Pearls was the name.
She was fighting off feelings,
That were driving her insane.

The boy she loved,
Was full of blue.
So, she lathered him in hugs,
And blew him many kisses too.

She tried with fire,
She tried with rain.
She tried and tried,
Without refrain.

She gave words so sweet,
A genuine cry.
And from him she received,
But one reply.

I don't know.
I don't care.
No reason to live,
The pain's too much to bear.

The stars and skies,
Would forever collide,
Before she gave up,
And lost his trust.

She tried again,
With words of fire.
But the smoke engulfed,
Rising higher and higher.

The blue in him,
Now darkened to black.
His heart was sinking,
In quicksand - too fast.

So still...he sat,
As a black hole indeed.
Sucking in every word,
But no warnings he'd heed.

Her hope was now,
Wearing thin.
As a new moon she wished,
To begin again.

The thought of his madness,
The thought of his pain,
Clearly was making,
Ms. Pearls insane.

But he wouldn't allow,
Himself to be free.
He wouldn't allow her in,
Without the key.

Her words of fire,
From before,
Came back with vengeance,
Vibrating through the floor.

It hurt her to use fire,
So she lined it with transcendence.
Her voice became higher,
The effect less than tremendous.

While his actions were intolerable,
Both their hearts begin to shake.
She began to drown him,
In her fiery lake.

Then she had an idea,
To leave him be.
Though it hurt her heart,
She felt she'd found the key.

She needed some peace,
And so did he.
She knew in her heart,
This was meant to be.

So, she went away,
For them both to think.
He fell deeper and deeper,
On her anchor he sank.

While he was drowning in,
His river of tears.
Suddenly thoughts of her kindness,
Came to him clear and dear.

He stared into her soul,
As she walked away.
He thought of her words,
And what he could say.

Then the sun began to rise,
He could finally see the light.
All the while Ms. Pearl's,
Stayed away with all her might.

He thought of her love,
While she cried for him inside.
He felt bad for the hugs,
He'd received without reply.

With his time away,
His heart grew stronger.
The black of him - now gray,
As her distance had grown longer.

With each step closer to her,
His pain began to dissipate.
So the steps became faster,
Until he heard her say.

I love you more,
Than you could ever know.
I want the best for you,
As you will grow.

I want to see sparkles,
Inside of your eyes.
I want you to find,
Life's true prize.

It's in the struggle.
It's in the journey.
It's in the patience.
It's in the yearning.

Life is hard,
And easy sometimes.
Life is tough,
But the breeze is fine.

They had gravitated closer,
With each word she said.
He now loved her more,
And wanted life more than death.

His gray had changed,
Now pure and white.
She saw the happiness,
Emanate from his eyes.

Her poor blue boy,
Was becoming a man.
Her words he could now,
Begin to understand.

His feelings had changed,
And would continue the same.
Because she helped him through,
On this beautiful day.

Ms. Pearls became,
Much stronger too.
Through fighting her urges,
To love him blue.

Her treasure chest,
That was full of love,
Could now continue on,
Through their magnetic hug.
