Mistaking A Misunderstood Mistake

The biggest mistake,
Is
The greatest mistake,
Is
Always mis-taken,
For
A horrible disgrace.

Lesson learned,
To replace vice with virtue.
Lesson learned,
To be someone without you.

To be great is to be good,
Tried, virtuous, and true.
To be great is to be misunderstood,
Affirming your awkward belief in you.

Many mistakes pave the way,
Leading to fruitful achievement.
Many mistakes can take your days,
And shatter them to pieces.

A mistake is but an error,
Latin to wonder or stray,
Leading down a path unknown,
Living however you may.

I had forgotten what I'd known,
The fault was all my own.
Now I'm able to know better,
Than the silly girl I showed.

I have committed a sin - I will commit again,
A life enveloped in misunderstanding.
Rearrange commitment - Commit to change,
Growth occurs from understanding it.

But the grandest mistake - Is the birth of a day,
With lack of preparation for planning it.
And every word that you say or plan that you make,
Proves as a useless way of handling it.

Where to go once you know,
That your heart can no longer stand it.
Is where adventure awaits - Love and loneliness too,
The place mistakes are made - Searching for truth.

Everything's the same - Everyone is different,
All due for wicked deceptions,
Leading to choices you make - A deciding day,
Accepting life isn't how you could have planned it.

Powerless Life, Powerless Night

I have never really understood will power. I understand boredom. I think it's a waste of time to think about how boring your imagination is. You're so dull, you can't entertain yourself, but I get it. I've had will power, and I like to think that once you've experienced something, it increases your knowledge of said something. But when I weigh out the benefits of telling yourself what you want, and then sticking to it, it falls short on the scale next to living in the moment. Making crazy, off the wall, out of the blue, stupid decisions is part of being human, it's part of the human experience. I can't understand why people don't want to make bad decisions. It was one of "those days." The kind of emotional girl roller coaster days you'd see in a rom com where the girl is taking turns comforting herself in greasy french fries and Tom Hanks' love stories with whatever her name is with the orgasms, except there were drugs, and it wa...
