Control is Lost. Control is Gained.

When I look at you
When I talk to you
When I think of you
When we ooooo

The blood in my veins
Make them protrude from my skin
I can't feel my brain
What is happening

Control is lost
Control is gained
My mind is racing
Such a feeling to obtain

The sweat is dripping
My heart persistant
I slow down the race
As I stare at your face

But the beat then builds
Faster and faster
We're hot and sweating
But it doesn't matter

On and on
This pounding is making
Me lose control
I'm yours for the taking

Hold on tight
Don't let me go
I can't believe
I've lost control

Again and Again
Over and Over
What have I done
I thought I was sober

My soul is yours
Why did I let it go
You have taken
Complete control

I didn't mean
For it to be this way
So where am I now
I don't think I can stay

I have to take it back
What you took from me
It wasn't your fault
I gave it willingly

I'm all alone now
Where did you go
Why aren't my veins pulsing
I'm lifeless and cold

All I can do
Is take control of my brain
But, I've induced a haze
And it's driving me insane

I've got to get out
Once again I've lost control
But, it feels so good
I feel so whole

So Deeper and Deeper
Drowning in oblivion
I'm lost in a dark world
No longer can I see the sun

And he comes in
Like a beautiful star
Tanning my skin
Healing my scars

For the while he's there
I start to see light
My future seems
A bit more bright

He comforts me
In ways noone can know
Reads my mind
And opens my soul

Easily he creeps away
A tad at a time
As to say
He can't be mine

I begin to find
A journey of my own
Still not knowing
What's down the road

A few lovers pass
My heart is no longer glass
My soul has been beat and abused
Because I allowed it to

My vision is clearing
I see the real me
What once was dark
Is now a bright eternity

Now I'm stronger
My wounds have healed
I know what I want
My mind won't be concealed

On a path
I have chosen
No more slacking
Or endless toking

I don't need those things
What I need is my brain
To be at full potential
To ascend in credentials

What I need is my soul
To burst from my flesh
What I need is this feeling
Of body and soul to mesh

What I need is to write
What I need is love
What I need is strength
Truly sent from above

I've come so far
I won't look back
Never turning around
I've packed my bags

I'm gone and I'm done
It's over and through
But I wouldn't be me
If not for you

If not for the way
I lost control
I wouldn't be able
To pay this toll

See the good in the bad
Treasure what you have
Look on to the future
Learn from your past

The control I lost
My grip to reality
I've gained back stronger
Along with a new mentality

Naming - Letters to the Multiverse

Powerless Life, Powerless Night

I have never really understood will power. I understand boredom. I think it's a waste of time to think about how boring your imagination is. You're so dull, you can't entertain yourself, but I get it. I've had will power, and I like to think that once you've experienced something, it increases your knowledge of said something. But when I weigh out the benefits of telling yourself what you want, and then sticking to it, it falls short on the scale next to living in the moment. Making crazy, off the wall, out of the blue, stupid decisions is part of being human, it's part of the human experience. I can't understand why people don't want to make bad decisions. It was one of "those days." The kind of emotional girl roller coaster days you'd see in a rom com where the girl is taking turns comforting herself in greasy french fries and Tom Hanks' love stories with whatever her name is with the orgasms, except there were drugs, and it wa...
